"An eccentric bunch of fun and friendly small hotels in London, Brighton and Cornwall"
Brighton
A 23 bedroom hotel, restaurant and cocktail bar centrally located on historic regency square with sea views over the West Pier. It is the original Artist Residence that opened in 2008 and has been a constant evolving story of love. In 2012 the owners expanded the building, creating an additional 8 house rooms and The Cocktail Shack, which is very popular with local creatives.
Set within the backdrop of Regency splendour, Brighton was once home to the King of England and is now an eccentric cultural hub with many nooks and crannies to explore. They take great pride in offering down to earth hospitality, comfy beds, cool artwork, reclaimed vintage style and tasty home cooked breakfasts in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is original, lively and casual with rustic and eclectic décor.
London
An award winning 10 bedroom hotel, restaurant and cocktail bar in Pimlico, Central London just a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station.
The original building, a public house, dates back to 1852 and was designed by the master planner Thomas Cubitt, who was renowned for creating the Belgravia and Pimlico neighbourhoods of London. They have carefully restored the building over a period of two years prior to launch in September 2014, sourcing artwork and individual pieces of furniture along the way.
Artist Residence is a 10 bedroom hotel in Pimlico just a 5 minute walk from Victoria station, Belgravia and Sloane Square. On the ground floor the restaurant is called The Cambridge Street Cafe which is open all day serving breakfast through to dinner with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce. Downstairs there is a "secret" cocktail bar in the original pub cellar, a ping-pong room and comfy seating area & work space for guests to enjoy and relax in.
Cornwall
A boutique retreat with 18 bedrooms and apartments, a restaurant/bar and garden in the old quarter of Penzance - perfect for exploring West Cornwall. Set inside a Grade II listed 17th century Georgian manor house, each of the rooms have been individually designed by both artists and the house. The Cornwall hotel is the younger sister of the original Artist Residence in Brighton and opened in 2010 after extensive renovation.
Artist Residence take great pride in getting customers off to a great start to the day with their award winning breakfasts, made from locally sourced Cornish produce and served in their newly refurbished restaurant.
